New York

The last time we went into The City we visited Central Park and Serendipity to get those frozen hot chocolates.  Then on to the Empire State Building, and then some thoughtful moments at Ground Zero.  We even paid a visit to Jaques Torres, but the chocolate works were closed, so I couldn’t get my chili hot chocolate though there’s always mail order . . .

Every time, it’s a different thing.  After all, you have only so much time, so why not change it up a bit?

This time we headed in to see the Harry Potter Exhibit at Times Square.  Very cool to be in the place where the magic of the New Year starts, along with all the props from that most magical of all, HP. Alas, no photos were allowed . . . but then —

We paid a visit to Dylan’s Candy Store. Yes, that bathtub is FILLED with gumballs.

And to see the Lego dragon . . .

And Tiffany and Co, of course, for the Audrey Hepburn fans . . . The next day we went to the Jersey Shore.  Avon is so pretty . . . and the water was freezing.  I don’t know what possessed the girls to give the boogie board a try . . .
