Orange Curd

You can make orange curd just like you make lime curd.  Substitute for the lime juice 1 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice and  the juice of two lemons.  Use orange zest instead of lime zest, naturally.

The color is almost the same as lime curd or lemon curd.  The flavor is sweeter and not as tart even with the addition of the lemons . . .

This would taste wonderful slathered on pound cake, or as the layers of an orange chiffon cake . . .
