DAY 3: Schedule it ☺

For some, the honeymoon could already be over. If it’s hard to get started, put a clutter-busting session on the calendar.  Blocking off time ahead of time starts your engine.  If you decide the day before that you will declutter for 30 minutes in the morning, then part of you gets in gear for the session, the day before!  Another part of you may want to resist the decision, but having it on the schedule does two things:  first, you mentally start to let go of whatever you have chosen to look through.  Second, you have given this task a degree of importance by putting it on the schedule, just as you would a doctor’s appointment, or a business meeting, or even an aerobics class.   At this point, you probably know how much time is feeling comfortable to you.  Keep it up!
